The only means which God has of reaching the hearts of men is through the preaching of the Gospel. We preach the gospel in Gospel Meetings (or any other time) for the purpose of creating, building, and strengthening faith.
We thanked God for more harvest of souls after hearing the truth during the Gospel Meeting at Tagaytay, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur. Many of those who attended came from the mountainous place at Almag church of Christ, Almag, Tagaytay, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur. They need to walk for almost 2 hours one way just to attend and study the Scriptures with us. Brother Leopoldo Pandacan was the host and he helped in preaching here and in neighboring places for many years.
My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached the word of God. He gave a lesson about the conversion of Saul (Acts 22:16). Many alien sinners also heard the truth and are attentive. During the invitation song lead by brother Joseph Notarte, 5 SOULS came forward and submitted to baptism. Their names are: 1. Tolon Saban, 2. Darwin Emelio, 3. Aireen Emelio, 4. Lorna Ayoba, and 5. Jezrel Odi. Brother Jonathan Notarte read some scriptures and admonished them. I (Joshua Notarte) also had cooperated and we give all the glory to God!
The Radio Program of the Church of Christ was aired and heard throughout Davao del Sur province where brother Julie Divine A. Notarte, I (Joshua Notarte) and my brothers in flesh (Joseph and Jonathan) preached for many years. Our radio program was heard in our local radio station, Radyo Ukay Digos 104.7 FM at 6:00 - 6:30 PM. Through this radio program, many people heard the truth and after several times of listening, they obeyed the truth. To God be the glory!
