MOA SIGNING at Digos City District Jail, San Miguel, Digos City, Davao del Sur

The following statement was qouted from my father's Facebook account (Julie Divine Albano Notarte) post:
"We signed our MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) with J/Supt. Peter D. Bongat Jr., MPA - District Jail Warden. We had baptized a total of more than 150 jailed persons inside this jail since 2006. One of those baptized on 2006, when he was released from this jail, he preached the truth to his family & relatives & with the grace of God, fifteen (15) were converted and was baptized into Christ at Dawis, Digos City. We give all the glory to God. We held worship services every Sunday inside this jail at 2:00 - 3:00 PM with the cooperation of my three sons: Joseph, Jonathan, and Joshua. This is the scheduled set for the Church of Christ for the Males and Females for about 10 years already."

Gospel Meeting in Taclobo church of Christ, Taclobo, Libertad, Kaputian, IGaCoS

We traveled for 4 hours by land and sea to preach on a Gospel Meeting in Taclobo church of Christ. Two (2) congregations in the southern part of the island gathered together for this gospel meeting. Many of the brethren here were baptized since 1980's and until now, they remained faithful and we give all the glory to God.

I (Joshua A. Notarte) was one of the speakers who preached the word of God together with brother Joseph A. Notarte, Jonathan A. Notarte, and my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte. The brethren were attentive and were edified.

Funeral Service of Sister Nena Hong

Our beloved sister in Christ, Nena Hong, died on March 2, 2016. Her family was not able to find out what really is her illness due to lack of money for hospitalization. She is a faithful member of the Church of Christ and attended the worship services in Puas Inda church of Christ, Puas Inda, Amas, Kidapawan City where brother Gerry Noa preaches.

My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, was requested to preach on the last funeral service until the burial. I (Joshua A. Notarte) was requested to lead the songs. And my 2 brothers in flesh, Joseph and Jonathan, had cooperated. Many people and brethren had attended.

 

Many preachers of the Church of Christ also helped in comforting the family of sister Nena by preaching the word of God on previous days. They are brother Jimmy Noa Sr., Jimmy Noa Jr., Gerry Noa, Noli Caa, Francisco Pampangan, Arturo Bugcotan and many more. We do what we can to help them in this hard times especially by preaching the truth where our sister in Christ, Nena Hong, was standing until her last breath. Please pray for her family and all the brethren in Puas Inda church of Christ.

 

Baptism at Aplaya, Digos City, Davao del Sur (7 PRECIOUS SOULS)

Seven (7) souls submitted to baptism after hearing the Gospel of Christ. They heard it through several bible studies and by listening to our radio program in DXDS Radyo Ukay Digos City. Brother Rene Boy Bogoy did much job in preaching to them first the truth in Colonsabac, Matanao, Davao del Sur. 

Before we went to the water, my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached first about the importance of water baptism according to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many brethren also had attended and were edified.

After preaching the truth, 7 SOULS responded to the Gospel call and were immediately baptized in the sea. Brother Julie Notarte baptized them and we give all the glory to God. Their names are: (1) Glory Bogoy, (2) Juning Bogoy, (3) Helen Declaro, (4) Julie Bogoy, (5) Gadafe Declaro, (6) Jerdan Declaro, and (7) Maricel Declaro.

I (Joshua A. Notarte), together with brother Joey Bilang, Joseph A. Notarte and Jonathan A. Notarte had cooperated.

Gospel Meeting at Datu Atang church of Christ, Datu Atang, Sudsuhayan, Ilomavis, Kidapawan City

Datu Atang church of Christ is one of the local congregations in Ilomavis, Kidapawan City. They held a Gospel Meeting and we were thankful to them that they requested us to preach the truth. Brother Arturo Bugcotan is one of the preachers in this congregation and now they are building a meeting place, although it is not yet finished since the brethren are poor and in financial crisis due to long drought that we are experiencing.

Many preachers had attended and helped in edifying the brethren. They are brother Alejandro Anoling Sr., Victor Ambag and many more. Brother Hope Itdang and Noli Caa lead the songs.

I (Joshua A. Notarte), was one of the speakers who preached the word of God. Other speakers were brother Francisco Pampangan, Cebe Arjay A. Notarte, Joseph Notarte, Jonathan Notarte, and Julie Divine  A. Notarte.

After preaching the truth, 3 PRECIOUS SOULS responded to the invitation and submitted to baptism. Brother Hope Itdang baptized them at the river and we give all the glory to God. Their names are (1) Gerald Timpadan, (2) Jerry Atang, and (3) Aily Atang.
