Worship Services & Funeral Service at night

May 15, 2016

"Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." - 1 CRON. 16:29

Worship is all about the Lord. We give the Glory to God, not to man. And we do this because He alone is "worthy to be worshiped." On the first day of the week, we are very busy in preaching the word of God to different congregations of the Church of Christ and we are thankful that the brethren were edified.

9:00 - 11:00 AM - I (Joshua A. Notarte), preached in Bitaug church of Christ, Bitaug, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. Brother Valente Tumol Jr. lead the songs.

Brother Advincula Odas, one of the preachers in Bitaug church of Christ, was requested by my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, to preach in Astorga church of Christ, Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur to the congregation of our late brother, Dionisio Cantulan. The brethren were edified.

Brother Jonathan A. Notarte preached in Manga church of Christ, Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur together with brother Ruel Eloy.

Brother Julie Divine A. Notarte and Joseph A. Notarte preached in Digos City church of Christ, Roxas Ext., Zone 3, Digos City. Brother Cebe Arjay A. Notarte and Ben Dulong had cooperated.

2:00 - 3:00 PM - We preached in Digos City District Jail church of Christ. Brother Julie Divine A. Notarte preached in Male section and Joseph A. Notarte preached in Female. We had baptized 150 souls in this jail since 2006 and many of them had remained faithful.

4:00 - 5:00 PM - I (Joshua A. Notarte), preached in Padada church of Christ, Sikatuna St., Padada, Davao del Sur. Together with me were brother Joseph Notarte and Ruel Eloy who lead the songs.

7:00 - 9:00 PM - We preached on the funeral service at Rizal, Bansalan, Davao del Sur to comfort the family of William Notarte. He is a first cousin of my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, who was also requested to preach here every night. They are not yet members of the Church of Christ and our prayer is that God may touch their hearts to obey the truth.
