The brethren are in deep mourning due to the death of brother Fernando Bayoc that was killed by bandits. He was working that time when he was shot by gun. He is a nephew of brother Pedrito Matampole who is a preacher in J.P. Laurel church of Christ, J.P. Laurel, Malungon, Sarangani Province.
We were requested to preach on the funeral service in their house at Molave, Talus, Malungon, Sarangani Province. My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached the word of God. Many of those who attended are not yet members of the Church of Christ so it was a great opportunity for us to preach the truth. The preachers who cooperated were brother Joseph Notarte (who lead the songs), Jonathan Notarte and I (Joshua Notarte).
