Preacher Training at Kitakal church of Christ, Kitakal, Malalag Cogon, Malungon, Sarangani Province

There is a great shortage of good, sound, gospel preachers today. We need to help men to be able to say, as did the apostle Paul, "so, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel " (Rom. 1:15). It is the church's responsibility to prepare men to preach! Preacher training programs are churches in action, doing one of the works God gave it to do to train men to teach others.

We are invited to preach on the Preacher Training Class at Kitakal church of Christ, Kitakal, Malalag Cogon, Malungon, Sarangani Province where brother Feliciano Linao Jr. preaches with the help of sister Sel Sandoval (a widow). They do this every month and was attended by many preachers from Sarangani Province areas and General Santos City. Although they don't have enough budget but still they do their best so that the preachers will continue to grow in their knowledge and will be effective in converting many lost souls.

This is a 2 days preacher training class. One of the speakers yesterday was brother Joy Julom, a preacher at Lanton church of Christ, Purok 5, Lanton, Apopong, General Santos City. This day, I (Joshua Notarte) was one of the speakers together with brother Joseph Notarte, Jonathan Notarte, and Julie Divine A. Notarte. The class started at 6 o'clock in the morning and ended at 12 noon. We just break a few minutes to eat some foods prepared by women through the help of sister Sel Sandoval. At the end of the class, we learned many good lessons that hopefully could help us become more effective preachers of the Gospel of Christ.
