Annual Gospel Meeting at Manga church of Christ, Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur, Philippines (6 SOULS BAPTIZED) & Home Bible Study at Night in Sister Vicky Madaging Residence + Radio Preaching

"Gospel Meeting" refers to assemblies of people who have come together for the purpose of hearing the gospel of Christ preached to them. Philip, one of the seven chosen to minister to the needy widows (Acts 6:3-5), was sent by the Holy Spirit to the city of Samaria where he preached Christ in a gospel meeting. His preaching was very successful in that city in that "both men and women" were baptized, and it produced great joy in that city.

The Annual Gospel Meeting at Manga church of Christ, Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur provide a good way to edify the brethren and reach the lost people who need the gospel. As the simple gospel of Christ was preached, 6 precious souls responded to the invitation and submitted to water baptism. Brother Jonathan Notarte is the preacher in this congregation for many years.

Many of our co-preachers from different congregations had attended and cooperated. But due to limited time, they were not able to preach even though they are always ready. But each of them lead a song and give their thanks to the brethren who attended and remain faithful. They are brother Joseph Notarte, Pedro Perez, Rene Boy Bogoy, Dominguez Manife and Dionisio Tol.

The brethren here requested a certain topics to preach. For this reason, only 2 speakers were able to preach. I (Joshua Notarte), was the first speaker and my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte was the last. The brethren here are always listening to our radio program and through this, they were able to preach the truth to their neighbors and relatives. We make it sure that "the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ" was preached. (Acts 8:12)

After preaching the whole truth, 6 SOULS responded to the invitation song and were baptized by brother Julie Divine A. Notarte. We thanked God for touching their hearts. Their names are: 1. Maria Ugbaniel, 2. Robert Pacquiao, 3. Jessa Mae Ugbaniel, 4. Engracio Canoy, 5. Narciso Ugbaniel Jr., and 6. Emeliana Colano. Please pray for them as they start to live in Christ.

In the evening, a Bible Study was done in the house of Sister Vicky Madaging at Digos City. She is a faithful member at Digos City church of Christ, Roxas Ext., Zone 3, Digos City. My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte preached the word of God and brother Jonathan Notarte lead the songs. Many of those who attended are not yet members of the Church of Christ. May God touches their hearts to obey.

Also, at 6:00-6:30 PM, the Radio Program of the Church of Christ at Radyo Ukay Digos City was aired and heard throughout Davao del Sur province. I (Joshua Notarte) preached the word of God.
