Colossians 4:3 -
"And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains."
We thanked God for opening the door for us to preach the truth. Through Him, we were able to proclaim the Gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation. This day, we were very busy on God's work in travelling to 3 different places by preaching His words. It was challenging and we are exhausted but in the end, fulfilled with thanksgiving.
Started in the morning, we went to Purok 20-A, Campo 10, Guihing, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur as we were invited to preach on a BIBLE STUDY in the house of Romel Cabaña. They are radio listeners in our radio program of the Church of Christ at Radyo Ukay Digos City every Saturday night at 6:00 - 6:30 PM. They contacted us by phone and started to attend the worship service in Digos City church of Christ on July 10, 2016. They were glad to found the truth and according to them, they search it for many years. Now, they were thankful and are willing to obey the Gospel. Please help us pray that this will be successful in the soonest time. My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte and I (Joshua Notarte) together with Joseph Notarte, Jonathan Notarte and brother Daga had cooperated.
On the afternoon, another radio listener whom I invited came and attended the PREACHERS TRAINING CLASS in Bansalan church of Christ, Gumamela St., Bansalan, Davao del Sur. He is Ivan Carpentero who is a devoted member of "Seventh Day Adventist Church" just in front of the church building here. He challenged me to have a debate regarding the "Sabbath Day" and so I prepare that lesson to preach here and after preaching the truth and answering his questions with the help of brother Franklin Isla and Julie Divine A. Notarte, he went home enlightened and contacted me again and said, "I am willing to become a member of the Church of Christ as I saw that my religion is false." Hopefully, in the soonest time, he will submit to baptism and become part of the body of Christ which is the Church of Christ.
Brother Franklin Isla, the preacher here in Bansalan church of Christ has invited many preachers from different places. The SPEAKERS on this afternoon were brother Connie Balbin, Joseph Notarte, Jonathan Notarte, I (Joshua Notarte) and Julie Divine A. Notarte. The preachers were edified on this 2 days preacher training (July 22-23, 2016).
In the evening, we continue to preach on the FUNERAL SERVICE of Nenita Blanca in Power, Tres de Mayo, Digos City. I (Joshua Notarte), lead the songs and my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached the word of God. Together with us were brother Joseph Notarte, Jonathan Notarte and Felipe Tula Jr.
