We were requested to preach every night on the funeral service of Nenita Blanca who died due to Asthma and lack of medicines. She attended the worship services in Digos City church of Christ, Roxas Ext., Zone 3, Digos City for almost 1 year but remain undecided to baptism. It might be the reason that her husband was a former "Pastor" of a denomination. But her son, Nestor Blanca, a former "Pastor" also submitted to baptism inside the jail after hearing the truth and is one of the members in Digos City District Jail church of Christ where we are preaching every Sunday worship since 2006.
We do what we can to comfort her family in this trying times of their lives. We always assure also that the truth will be preached especially that this family and most of the audience are not yet members of the Church of Christ. This night, my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, was requested to preach and brother Joseph Notarte lead the songs. The preachers who cooperated were brother Jonathan Notarte, Felipe Tula Jr., Renato Taburada and I (Joshua A. Notarte).
