Galatians 3:27 (NKJV) -
''For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.'
By God's grace and continued preaching of the Gospel of Christ, Fifty Eight (58) Souls submitted to baptism in Bonguyan, Matina Aplaya, Davao City. They heard the truth for many times through the help of brother Moca Marapan (preacher in Sagundanon, Kitaotao, Bukidnon), Salvador Baday Sr. (preacher in Purok 9, South Poblacion, Maramag, Bukidnon), Jolito Siadan (preacher in Purok 10, Don Carlos, Bukidnon), and many more.
These people actually invited us to preach in their place 2 years ago but due to financial loss and unending wars in their area, we were not able to go. But now, they temporarily evacuated in Bankerohan Gym, Davao City after the rebels killed 29 people in their place. Nine (9) of them were members of the Church of Christ who were baptized on 2002 after the bible lectures of brother Ron Halbrook in Kitaotao, Bukidnon. They are very afraid and now asking for help to our government. On the other hand, this incident gives us the opportunity to preach to them the Gospel until they decided to be baptized this day.
My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached first before we went to the water. Although they already decided but we make sure that they understand the importance of baptism according to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16) I (Joshua A. Notarte) and my brothers in flesh, Joseph and Jonathan had cooperated.
