Our hearts were filled with joy and thankfulness to God for opening again the door for us to preach the Gospel of Christ at Davao del Sur Provincial Jail (also known as Provincial Rehabilitation Center) in Matti, Digos City, Davao del Sur. It was stopped for 2 months due to change in administration. Lately, the new appointed warden, Vergilio Doble, permitted us again to continue our bible study every Thursday morning. This is through the help of brother Ben Dulong and his wife, Susan Dulong.
My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached the word of God. Brother Jonathan Notarte also lead the songs and other preachers who cooperated were brother Joseph Notarte, Dionesio Tol and I (Joshua Notarte).
We are thankful to see the brethren whom we baptized last April 7, 2016 inside the jail. But they are much more thankful to see us again to hear more about the word of God. They continue to study the bible using the bibles that we had given. We are also surprise because many more are asking when they are going to be baptized them since they had already decided since we last came here. We pray that God may answer our prayers so we can able to baptize them as soon as possible. Please help us pray for the Lord's work here.
