Funeral service is one of the ways we can be reminded that we too are going to die some day. And the most important thing to do is to choose where you'll spend eternity. This is the message that my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, preached during the funeral service of our relative, Wilma Notarte, at Nebrada, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. We comfort her family and at the same time, preaching the truth in preparing for eternity. Many of our relatives had attended and the preachers who cooperated were brother Joseph Notarte (who lead the songs) and Jonathan Notarte.
The preachers of the Church of Christ were requested to preach during the nightly funeral services. This is one of the requests of Wilma Notarte before she died as she heard the kind of our preaching on several funeral services before.
