Gospel Meeting at Ginatilan Church of Christ, Ginatilan, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato

November 28, 2015

We are thankful for the opportunity to preach the word of God on a Gospel Meeting at Ginatilan Church of Christ, Ginatilan, Kidapawan City. This congregation was established early 1970's where brother Isidro Manibog preached until he died few years ago. Brother Isidro was a close friend of my grandfather, Ruben Notarte.

Since then, brother Hope Itdang and Joseph Cuñado helped to preach in this congregation. We are thankful to hear that the brethren are active for the work of God. They also help in paying the radio program of the Church of Christ in Kidapawan City where brother Hope Itdang preaches.

This is brother Hope Itdang who lead the songs of the Church. He invited many brethren from neighboring churches and many preachers had attended and edified. Many alien sinners also attended and heard the truth.
Brother Noli Caa was the first speaker who preached the word of God. He is a preacher in Kisante church of Christ, Kisante, Makilala, Cotabato.

Brother Rudy Coercy A. Notarte was the second speaker. He is a preacher in Tagum City church of Christ, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Brother Joseph A. Notarte was the 3rd speaker. He is a preacher in New Quezon church of Christ, New Quezon, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. He also preached in our radio program at DXDS Radyo Ukay Digos City.

Brother Jonathan A. Notarte was the 4th speaker. He is a preacher in Manga church of Christ, Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur and also helping to preach in our radio program at Digos City.

I, Joshua A. Notarte, was the 5th speaker who preached the word of God. I am a preacher at Bitaug church of Christ, Bitaug, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur since 2006. I am also preaching in our radio program since I was 14 years old.

My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, was the 6th and last speaker. He is a preacher in Digos City church of Christ, Roxas Ext., Zone 3, Digos City, Davao del Sur.

He was also preaching in our radio program in Digos City. Through radio preaching, even the rebels had heard the truth and many of them already obeyed the Gospel of Christ after repenting their sins and remain faithful.

After preaching the plain truth, 7 precious souls had submitted to baptism. Their names are:
1. Permol Calimpitan
2. Ricky Catigan
3. Nik-Nik Apala
4. Cristine Mae Apala
5. Cherrilyn Eyong
6. Desire Embacanan
7. April Love Lim

Brother Julie Divine A. Notarte baptized them at the river and we give all the glory to God.

Brother Hope Itdang read some scriptures in Colossians 3:1-17. Please remember our new brethren in Christ in your prayers that God may guide them always through His word and that they may grow in the knowledge of Christ.

Bible Study at Davao del Sur Provincial Jail, Matti, Digos City, Davao del Sur

November 26, 2015

Another successful day of preaching the Gospel of Christ to the PRISONERS at Davao del Sur Provincial Jail (also known as "Provincial Rehabilitation Center"). More and more of them were interested to hear the truth and that is why, it was not hard for us to invite them to attend. I, Joshua A. Notarte, preached the word of God in the whole chapter of Ezekiel 18

Brother Jonathan A. Notarte, my elder brother in flesh and the second son of Julie Divine A. Notarte, lead the songs.

Brother Joseph A. Notarte (our eldest brother) and brother Ben Dulong cooperated in this work. Brother Ben helped us to start this weekly bible study.

Please continue to pray for this work in saving the souls of many who are guilty of their sins. Some of them approach us and were thankful to hear such a biblical teaching like this. May God help us to make a way so they can obey the true Gospel of Christ and become members of His Church which is the Family of God. (1 Tim. 3:15)

Many more preachers had attended but because of limited time, they were not able to preach. They are brother Pedro Perez and Dominguez Manife.

We were expecting some baptism this time but because of full military operations in neighboring community, they were not allowed by the military to leave their homes. Few days ago, there were more than 200 New People's Army Rebels passed their place that the brethren had witnessed. Please pray for their safety.

5th Day Bible Study on the BOOK OF ROMANS at EcoTech, Cebu City with Brother Harry Osborne

November 13, 2015

The last chapters (14-16) on the book of Romans was fully preached and studied. We were very blessed on this 5 days bible study and we go home with more knowledge on the word of God.

We are very thankful to brother Harry Osborne for his commitment in helping us grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We desire and prayed that more studies will be held like this in the future, God willing.

I, Joshua A. Notarte, together with my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, and my brothers in flesh, Joseph and Jonathan were thankful for allowing us to join in this bible study and receive a Certificate of Completion. This will always remind us the lessons we learned from the book of Romans and also the fellowship we had with our co-preachers from different places in the Philippines.

To end the program, I volunteer to lead the closing song entitled, "If we never meet again." Although it's a sad song of departure, but on the other hand, its a song that gives us joy for the hope we have in Christ where the faithful will surely meet again in heaven.

We are also thankful to brother Jonathan  Cariño in hosting this bible study. I know the pressure he faced just to accommodate us. But in the end, it's a job well done. Thank you so much brother for your help in the work of God.
