Every Sunday worship services, we are doing what we can in preaching the Gospel to alien sinners and edifying our brethren. Together with my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, and my brothers in flesh, Joseph and Jonathan were preaching in 7 to 8 congregations. We could not do this without God's help in providing our needs especially for the travelling expenses. We give all the glory to God.
9:00 - 11:00 AM - I, Joshua A. Notarte, preached the word of God on the worship service at Digos City Church of Christ, Roxas Ext., Zone 3, Digos City. During the bible study, I preached about the "Truth of Halloween." My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, also preached for the sermon. He preached about the "Types of Seekers."
9:00 - 10:00 AM - Brother Jonathan Notarte preached at Mahayahay Church of Christ, Mahayahay, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. Brother Rodulfo Saludar, one of the preachers in this congregation assisted him.
Brother Pedro Perez, a preacher in Mahayahay Church of Christ, was requested to preached in 2 congregations. First he preached in New Quezon Church of Christ, New Quezon, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. This was formerly "Maliit Digos Church of Christ." Second, he preached in Manga Church of Christ, Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur at noon.
9:00 - 11:00 AM - Brother Joseph Notarte preached at Bitaug Church of Christ, Bitaug, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. Preachers who cooperated were brother Advincula Odas (who also preached for the bible study) and Valente Tumol Sr.
2:00 - 3:00 PM - Worship services in Digos City District Jail Church of Christ or Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Digos City. Our worship service in this jail was divided into two. One in Male section and second in Female section. This time, Joseph Notarte preached in Male section and Julie Divine A. Notarte preached in Female section. Preachers cooperated were brother Jonathan Notarte, Ruel Eloy and I.
4:00 - 5:00 PM - I (Joshua A. Notarte) preached at Padada Church of Christ, Sikatuna St., Padada, Davao del Sur. Preachers who cooperated were brother Jonathan Notarte (lead the songs), Joseph Notarte, Ruel Eloy and Ringene Grengea.
Sister Elisama Sardido and family are always attending worship services in this congregation. She is the widow of brother Eliezer Sardido who died in motorbike accident long time ago.
Sister Lourdes Cañada and family were also members in this congregation. We are very thankful for them because they offered their vacant lot in order to build this meeting place.
7:00 - 8:00 PM - I was requested to preach on an evening worship at Bitaug Church of Christ, Bitaug, Zone 4, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. I was requested to preached about "Halloween" because in this particular day, most of the people around the world celebrated a thing that did not glorify God but Satan. We need to know the truth!
Brother Valente Tumol Sr. lead the songs. He is a fisherman but at the same time, he is a soul seeker that helps in preaching the true Gospel of Christ. He is one of the elders in this congregation.
We finished our work very late in the evening. But all the effort has worth it all. To God be the Glory!
