Gospel Meeting at Manga Church of Christ, Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur

November 21, 2015

By God's grace, a gospel meeting was successfully done in Manga Church of Christ where I and my brothers in flesh, Joseph and Jonathan, preach every Sunday worship. Brother Pedro Perez is also helping to preach here once a month. We are so thankful for the brethren who cooperated and were blessed by the word of God that we studied.

This is the meeting place where we worshiped. It's was owned by brother Leonardo Ugbaniel and sister Alma Ugbaniel. We are thankful for their dedication in serving God since they were converted in 2006 together with their children who are also Christians. They were all baptized by my father, Julie Divine A. Notarte.

Brother Dionesio Tol was the first speaker who preached the word of God. He is a preacher in Dongan Pekong Church of Christ, Dongan Pekong, Matanao, Davao del Sur.

Brother Rudy Coercy A. Notarte was the second speaker. He is a preacher in Tagum City Church of Christ, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Brother Joseph A. Notarte was the 3rd speaker. My eldest brother in flesh and a local preacher in New Quezon Church of Christ, New Quezon, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur.

Brother Jonathan A. Notarte was the 4th speaker. He is my elder brother in flesh and a local preacher in this congregation.

I, Joshua A. Notarte, was the 5th speaker who preached the word of God. I am one of the preachers in Bitaug church of Christ, Bitaug, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, was the 6th and last speaker. He is a preacher in Digos City church of Christ, Roxas Ext., Digos City, Davao del Sur.

Many more preachers had attended but because of limited time, they were not able to preach. They are brother Pedro Perez and Dominguez Manife.

We were expecting some baptism this time but because of full military operations in neighboring community, they were not allowed by the military to leave their homes. Few days ago, there were more than 200 New People's Army Rebels passed their place that the brethren had witnessed. Please pray for their safety.
