Gospel Meeting at Binay church of Christ, Binay, Magpet, Cotabato; 10 souls baptized

Brother Ruben Panday, a preacher in Riverside church of Christ, Riverside, Poblacion Magpet, Cotabato and also help in preaching here in Binay church of Christ invited us to preach for their Gospel Meeting. He gathered many visitors to hear the truth though many of them already heard it through his house to house bible studies and radio program of brother Hope Itdang and his co-preachers. Many brethren and preachers also attended and were edified. And finally, through God's help, 10 precious souls submitted to baptism after hearing the truth about the Church of Christ and God's plan of Salvation.

 
I, Joshua A. Notarte, was one of the speakers who preached the word of God. I taught about the BIBLE as our only standard for the faith. The bible is our complete guide and a pattern that is inspired, understandable, unalterable, saving, uniting and final pattern. Therefore, we should speak where the bible speaks, and silent where the bible is silent.

Brother Rudy Coercy A. Notarte also preached the word of God. He is a preacher in Tagum City church of Christ, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Brother Jimmy Noa Sr. helped in leading the songs and giving some words that edify our faith.

 My father, Julie Divine A. Notarte, was the last speaker who preached the word of God. He preached from Mark 11:11-26 that God is searching fruits from us. That we are nothing unless we bear fruits. And he ended his lesson with an invitation to everyone who are not in Christ that you could not bear fruit if you are not connected in Christ (John 15:1-8).

During the invitation song, 10 men and women came forward who are ready to submit in baptism. After confessing Christ as the son of God, we went immediately to the river and baptized them.

Brother Hope Itdang did the baptism of these 10 souls and we give all the glory to God.

Brother Jonathan A. Notarte read some scriptures after baptism. We prayed that God may help them grow unto maturity in their faith.

 

 After the gospel meeting at Binay church of Christ, we moved to our next schedule in preaching at Riverside, Pob. Magpet, Cotabato in the house of brother Alfonso Noe Sr. where several alien sinners attended during the bible study and heard the truth. 

Other preachers who cooperated in these works were brother Joseph Notarte, Alejandro Anoling Sr., Rodulfo Neniel, Arturo Bugcotan and Victor Ambag.

We thank God for his providence and protection for making this work successful. Without Him, we could not do this all.
